After a good weekend at my mom's place I decided to share a toddler recipe with you all.
Sooji is mostly used as first food in most of the places around the world but you should always look for any allergic reaction.
My daughter never liked only sooji therefore I had to combine it with something ...
Sooji apple kher was my best bet when I started giving sooji to her.
Here's how you make it .
INGREDIENTS :
1. Sooji- 1 tbspn
2. Ghee( after 8 months) - 1 tespn
3. Apple medium sized - half (grated)
4. Formula or Breast Milk - 2 oz
5. Water- as required
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Bhonofy sooji in ghee if your baby is 8+ months or else without it n empty pan
2. Add. Water as much as sooji wants to get tender
3. Grate Apple and add in sooji
4. Let it cook till sooji and apple becomes tender.
5. Take it of from stove and add formula or breast milk in it.
6. Mix it well
My daughter never accepted sooji texture as it is so I used to blend this kher in blender you can follow the same if your baby is not comfortable with its texture.
And yes I used to add very little amount of sugar also you can omit that as apple will make it sweet any ways .
NOTE:
- Make sure you have already introduced each ingredient separately first.
- always look for any allergic reaction
- consistency is upon your baby's acceptance and preference add milk accordingly.
